International Festival of Museums, Intermuseum, is the main museum event of the year. This event has no analogues in the world. Intermuseum is a unique platform not only for professionals but for a wide range of visitors as well.
Traditionally the Festival structure includes expositions, business and culture programs.
Annually the Festival incorporates more than 400 museums from Russia, former USSR countries & beyond. On top of that over 3000 museum specialists participate in professional business programs.
The Festival was founded by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation in 1999.

Business program contains different professional thematic sessions, discussions, lections, master-classes which will be happening simultaneously in several halls. These business programs are aimed to improve skills of the specialists who work in various museum areas.
